| Apple Menu (Mac OSX Only) This menu contains the About Options Czar command that opens a new window that shows the program information; the Suscribe to EOD Data command that opens your web browser so you can suscribe to more complete data that is uploaded automatically into Options Czar and the Preferences menu item that opens the Preferences window to change the program settings. You can also quit and hide Options Czar using this menu. |

| File Menu The New Portfolio command opens a new window. The Open Portfolio command opens a saved portfolio file and loads the data onto the frontmost window. If a window is not open, this command will open a new one. The Save Portfolio command will save the operations in the Operations Table to a XML file for later use and tracking. The Close Portfolio command will close the frontmost window. The Export Graphics command saves the current window as a graphics file. If the user has installed (free QuickTime), then more file types are available. The Page Setup command adjusts the page orientation. |

| Edit Menu The Copy command will allow the user to copy the data from the Asset and Options Chain tables into tab-delimited data to a text editor or spreadsheet. The Clear and Clear All commands are used for removing selected (former) or all (latter) stock and options operations from the Operations table to the left of the main window. The Select All command works on the Options Chain and Asset tables to select all the items in the list. |

| Data Menu You can Download EOD Data by using this command (a login and password is required and obtained by subscribing). The Load CBOE Data from Disk command opens a window that allows you to select the type of data you wish to load from your hard disk (free CBOE data file or EOD data folder). The Load Options Chain command is used when an asset has been selected in the Asset Table. The Load Historical Data command will connect to the internet to download historical underlying asset prices and incorporate the information in the Time Chart. |

| Tools Menu The Purchase and Sell commands open the Operations window for performing operations with the underlying asset and its options. The Read Market Volatility command gives the average volatility for all of the options from the selected asset. The Read Stock Trend command provides an estimate of the underlying asset expectations from the options market. The Read Traded Volume command shows the amount of options that are being traded. To use the Read Implied Volatility command, an option needs to be selected. |

| View Menu With the Use Decimal Notation command, you can switch between seeing the price quotes in fractions or with decimals and you can change the window fonts with the Font command. The Show Absolutes in Chain command changes whether the time to expiration are shown in absolute or relative terms. In case of the latter, the displayed Strike Price will be the difference with the asset price. The relative expiration date is displaued as days to expiration. The Time Chart command allows you to select between using the Exit data (time-sensitive profits and losses areas) or the Exercise data (square sections) for the Time Chart. The Use White Background command toggles between a black and white background. |
