Open a new document starting from primary package on File > New Data Sheet > Start from Primary Package.

When the window is opened, you will see a set of data that refer to a primary package with a rectangular form (i.e. a carton or square bag) with the following dimensions: 128x113x175 mm.

Since we have all the needed data, use the Recalculate function under the Tools menu to obtain a list of results. QPM will calculate the size of the boxes that will be used to pack these primary packages, besides orienting them as they have been selected on Dimensions Allowed Vertical to Pallet.

After the program has finished calculating, you will see the Available Solutions window with a list of boxes at the right side and a pallets list at the bottom of the window. The details of the selected pallet will appear on the left side of the window. Select the pallet with the greatest area efficiency, use the Power Sort feature from the Tools menu to do it.

In case you wish to print the pallet data, select the Detailed Report item that is located under the Window menu. This report contains all the information regarding the pallet that was selected and about its boxes. Move the selector at the bottom of the drawing to see other boxes.
